Professional Development & Mentorship
- New teachers are partnered with a Bronx Arts mentor teacher for support and to improve teaching techniques and practices.
- Summer Institute is an opportunity for all teachers to collaborate and learn best practices in the core subjects of science, reading, math fluency, STEAM education, writing, and the arts.
- Teachers have access to professional development opportunities throughout the year.
- We provide training on all school systems including Gradecam and PowerSchool, and in administering state and online assessments.
- We come together as a school community to analyze constructive assessments to differentiate lessons. In addition we conduct lesson plan studies to assess how lesson plans are effective and engaging.

Earn a Masters in Education
Teachers who want to earn a master’s in education can apply to the Relay Graduate School of Education, where you’ll hone the classroom skills needed to grow your teaching career through hands-on field work. Teachers may qualify for partial reimbursement.
