Elementary School

Bronx Arts Elementary is our founding school, opened more than 20 years ago in Hunts Point. Here, students in grades K – 5 are immersed in the arts from the start of their education, with five arts disciplines (visual arts, music, dance, and STEAM) seamlessly integrated into the curriculum.

Through a student-centered approach, the Bronx Arts child discovers the arts as a language for education, advocacy, and empowerment.

Middle School

Bronx Arts Middle School opened in 2018 in Soundview and remains one of the top performing middle schools in our district. At BAM, students in grades 6 – 8 experience a curriculum of intensive arts instruction coupled with rigorous academics.

In 6th grade, middle schoolers select a major from one of four arts disciplines (visual art, music, dance and theater), which they will specialize in until they graduate. 8th graders take the Regents in Living Environment and Algebra, giving them an advantage as they prepare for high school.
